Congratulations to Dr. Shasha Li on Completing Her BSN Journey with Distinction!

We are delighted to share the outstanding achievement of Principal Investigator Dr. Shasha Li, who has recently graduated with honors from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions (MGH IHP), earning her second degree—a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

In recognition of her academic excellence and dedication to the nursing profession, Dr. Li was awarded the prestigious $5,000 Joyce L. Wolf Scholarship from The Foundation for Nursing Advancement in Massachusetts. This award supports rising nurse leaders who are committed to advancing nursing practice and improving patient care throughout the Commonwealth.

Additionally, Dr. Li was invited to join the Upsilon Lambda Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma)—a prestigious, global network of nurses dedicated to transforming lives and advancing healthcare. This invitation reflects her exceptional academic performance and demonstrated leadership potential. Dr. Li, an accomplished clinician-scientist, will now be expanding her research portfolio to include health promotion and disease prevention, in alignment with the strategic mission of the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR). Her research will focus on the development of equitable, community-based interventions aimed at enhancing well-being, reducing health disparities, and improving quality of life across diverse populations.
