The 47th Annual Midwinter Meeting of the Association for Research in Otolaryngology (ARO) was held in Anaheim, CA from February 3 -7, 2024.

Our study sought to delve into the intricacies of the articulatory motor pathway during speech production and its potential intersection with speech perception, given its pivotal role in the precise and effective execution of spoken language. To accomplish this, we employed cutting-edge ultra-high field diffusion-weighted imaging at 7 Tesla to illuminate the white matter tracts of the articulatory motor pathway in participants engaged in a speech production task.
